I wake up and I realise its monday (monday)

I wish I was still playing on Sunday (Sunday)

Its the first day of school

and thats really not cool

I'm really really scared

'cause I'm seriously not prepaired

I need to put my fears aside 

cause I cannot shay here and hide

where is my class room?

I really need too find it soon!

what subject do I have first?

I feel like I'm going to burst!

Hello, today we are going to talk to you guys and girls about the country of Burundi!!!

Here are some facts about Burundi that we know!!!

So many people live in Burundi compared with New Zealand, because New Zealand has only got 4.471 million people and Burundi has10.16 million!!!!

You might be thinking that Burundi has to be prettybig to fit that many people, to be exact Burundi is 27,830 Km squared. 

Burundi is just south of the equator, it is actually in central Africa

The languages that the Burundi citizens mainly speak are french and Kirundi. So if you want to go there you better start learning these two languages.

The religions that make up Burundi are Christain 67%{Roman Catholic 62%, protestant 5%}, indigenous beliefs 32% and muslim 1%. Although the Burundi constitutions guarantees religous freedom several churches have been banned!

Most Burundi women wear long coloured dresses, and most men wear coloured Te-shirts and shorts.

The Burundi currency is called Franc.

The national sport in Burundi is football/soccer.

In Burundi the traditional food is exotic fruit and beans.

Special Events!!!

The first Special event that we are going to put on our blog is an event coming up at Ilam school, its our yearly Gymnastics. It is on Tuesday the 29th of July. :-)

Here is another if you are bored...post all ready for the upcoming holidays. This time we are talking about I-movie.  I-movie is an awesome app that you create either a movie or a trailer about any thing you want, we have it on our class i-pads and every-one is always trying to use it. It is the most popular app in our class there is always some-one on it even at lunch time when we are aloud inside the class room. There are two down sides to  the app though the first one is that the app costs to get it and the second one is that if you want to make a movie you  have  to film it without stopping but with a trailer you can stop, start and even re film parts but if you make a mistake while filming you have to start all over again. But every-one loves this app and we think you will too. It's seriosly awesome you should get it!!!!!!!!
